- ➤ Glacier National Park recorded over 718,000 visitors in August—a 4.1% drop from last year—and more than 2.4 million visitors so far this season, while Many Glacier showed a nearly 66% decline due to construction that has closed vehicle access until Sept. 21. Flathead Beacon
- ➤ Glacier National Park announced that Two Medicine Road will close to vehicles starting October 1 for a culvert replacement as part of a multi-year rehabilitation project. The park also will begin further utility work at Two Medicine in April 2026 and plan construction at St. Mary and Many Glacier campgrounds as well as Lake McDonald Lodge and Granite Park Chalet — details depend on weather and construction schedules.
