- ➤ Columbia Falls School District Superintendent Cory Dziowgo pitched a charter school proposal today—a trades academy at the former Canyon Elementary School that builds on a long-running Glacier National Park partnership—with plans to begin on the high school campus in 2027 and move in 2028 pending approval. - ➤ The Montana Department of Transportation is asking for public comments on a plan to resurface 4.5 miles of US 2 northeast of Kalispell — the work will go from near Glacier International Airport to a point just south of Montana Highway 40, with construction planned for 2027. MontanaRightNow
