- ➤ Flathead Electric Company crews are restoring power for about 8,000 customers in northwest Montana after gusty winds and falling trees have caused outages since Wednesday—strong winds returned by 4:40 a.m. along the U.S. Highway 2 corridor while a winter weather advisory covers West Glacier until Saturday. - ➤ Around 9,000 Flathead Electric Cooperative members lost power Friday morning as crews worked a third day to restore service while high winds brought new outages to parts of the county + emergency and community teams helped check on residents. Daily Inter Lake
