- ➤ The Samaritan House board removed long serving executive director Chris Krager on Thursday, Dec. 6 for the nonprofit shelter’s stability. Interim directors Bill Greel and Morgan Winchester will lead operations while a nationwide search begins for a new director and construction on the ($16.9M) Building Stability project continues. BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Kalispell-based GL Solutions was awarded a contract by Oklahoma to update state licensing systems for government agencies. The project will start in 2026 and is expected to last seven to eight years, a boost for local business growth. Daily Inter Lake

- ➤ Flathead Valley Community Band, led by longtime band director Allen Slater (the oldest continually-serving private group in the Flathead area), will perform multiple concerts including a Christmas Showcase on Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Red Lion Ballroom and Tuba Christmas on Dec. 15 at the same venue. - ➤ The Montana Land Board approved an 85,911-acre conservation easement near the Thompson chain of lakes in October, sparking local debate over mineral rights.
