- ➤ When a government shutdown disrupted SNAP benefits, Kalispell mom Danni Gormley created the Flathead Valley Giving Table on Oct. 26—helping over 100 families with food and donations as the group grew to more than 1,000 members. Community members now work together with local food banks and offer additional support like fundraisers and household supplies to help those in need. Flathead Beacon
- ➤ Last Saturday, Dan Cassidy and other hunters donated game at the Olney check station through the Hunters Against Hunger program to supply North Valley Food Bank with safe wild meat.
