Here's your local news at a glance for Monday, the 17th of November.
Good morning, Kalispell.

A Columbia Falls family of three received a new home from Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley on Friday afternoon.
Sam McAdams and her children celebrated the milestone—built with volunteer support and neighbor contributions—marking a fresh start for the family.
🌲 Environment
The fall thaw will end as winter weather sets in when snow moves down to about 5000 feet by Wednesday.
Flathead Valley residents should prepare for freezing temperatures + potential travel delays during Thanksgiving week.

Kalispell City Council is expected to sign a proclamation today to back the Flathead Food Bank and urge donations after a local representative stressed that many neighbors rely on food assistance.
The council will also vote on transferring an acre of city property to the school district, changing the residency rule for city managers, and scheduling a public hearing on planning a new equipment garage.
