- ➤ The Kalispell Parks and Recreation Department plans to resurface the 20-year-old lazy river at Woodland Water Park and review several methods before bringing the plan to City Council—if extra funds remain, they will add a climbing wall in the future. - ➤ Little Treeschool daycare northeast of Kalispell offers a play-based, outdoor learning environment for children aged 18 months to preschool as owner Jessica Hurley, who took over two years ago, emphasizes kindness and bravery. The daycare will host a movement, connection and calm class this year (funded by a state slot expansion grant) to boost early childhood services statewide. Daily Inter Lake
