- ➤ Flathead Valley Community College will host two free career events on Oct. 2 for local residents exploring paths in health care and trades. The college is scheduling an open house with a health care simulation at the Rebecca Chaney Broussard Center for Nursing & Health Science from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. while the Trades Institute offers hands-on sessions from 5 to 8:30 p.m. — reservations are required for the trades sessions. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ U.S. Rep. Ryan Zinke announced his office will hold mobile office hours in rural counties between Sept. 30 and Oct. 10 to help residents with federal issues—staffers will assist with matters like passports, visas, and grant applications on a first-come-first-served basis. Daily Inter Lake
