ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Firefighters are battling multiple wildfires along the Highway 200 corridor near Knowles Creek west of Dixon, including a 320 acre blaze on steep, rocky terrain north of the Flathead River, as officials advise the public to avoid Little Muddy Road because harsh weather with low humidity and high 90s temperatures today and tomorrow is slowing containment—helicopters, dozers and additional crews are being deployed.  MontanaRightNow
