- ➤ Whitefish Legacy Partners lost momentum in its effort to secure a recreation easement on 600 acres at Smith Lake when a reappraisal raised the cost from $7.3 million to $24.3 million—forcing the group to consider less effective alternatives. - ➤ Starting tomorrow, East Side Hungry Horse Reservoir Road will be limited to one lane at mile marker 12 for a bridge replacement project over Tiger Creek — the detour using a temporary bridge is expected to cause short delays until work is completed in about eight weeks with normal traffic returning in October.
