- ➤ On Sunday evening, Mike Skidmore and his 20 family members were hiking at Glacier National Park when they saw two people fall into freezing water along Avalanche Creek. They jumped in quickly and used CPR until first responders arrived—saving two lives in dangerous conditions. KPAX

- ➤ A Kalispell man has been arrested on felony charges—criminal mischief and attempted theft—after he allegedly ransacked a helicopter at the city airport on June 20 while claiming it was headed to a scrapyard; bail was set at $75,000 and a pretrial hearing is scheduled for Aug. 8.
