- ➤ Three people fell into a gorge on the Avalanche Lake Trail at Glacier National Park and were rescued by the Whitefish Fire Department—two were taken to the hospital by ground ambulance while one was flown out by the ALERT helicopter. KPAX

- ➤ The Flathead National Forest Service issued a 20-year special use authorization permit and approved a 2025 operating plan for Holland Lake Lodge in Condon, allowing new owner Eric Jacobsen— a fourth generation Montanan— to run the lodge within its current footprint. The lodge will host private events while undergoing wastewater repairs that may finish by summer 2027, and Jacobsen must submit a master development plan within five years as locals hope it stays historically unchanged.
