ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On June 27, a 72-year-old woman named Kyle Geyer was trapped beneath her riding lawnmower on Meadowlark Lane near Big Arm, and two visiting teenagers from Billings rescued her after she signaled for help from a ravine. Firefighters and an EMT later lifted the heavy mower and transported her to Providence St. Joseph Hospital where doctors confirmed bruises, a fractured cervical vertebra, and other injuries — her recovery is now hopeful. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ WorkshopMT, a new nonprofit, hosted a mobile classroom class at Flathead Valley Community College in June where elementary students learned woodworking skills with hand saws and hammers—classes that sold out quickly with support from a grant.
