Crazy Dragon Fireworks is a family business run by Brad Pluff for 28 years in Polson that has become a Fourth of July tradition on the Flathead Reservation despite rising costs.

The stand will return for Fourth of July + New Year's after reducing its inventory nearly by half.

The Montana Department of Transportation completed a four-mile US 2 project near Rose Crossing with new pavement, safety upgrades, ADA sidewalk improvements, and bump grinding this year — work designed to extend the road's service life and smooth travel for local drivers.

The Hungry Horse Dam visitor center will remain closed for summer while the dam top stays open to pedestrians and vehicles (new panels share the dam's history) as public restrooms stay open and are regularly cleaned.
