- ➤ Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services is asking for help to find two missing individuals—27-year-old Teira Jo Weatherwax, last seen on June 15 wearing a black-and-white Nike sweater, and 15-year-old James Patterson, seen on June 16 in a white Nike T-shirt—and anyone with information is urged to contact law enforcement. - ➤ On June 18, Gov. Gianforte honored local veterans—Terri Klepper-Speasl and Luke Opp—by presenting them with certificates and Montana flags at the Kalispell VFW as 2024 honorees of the Montana Governor’s Veteran Commendation program. Flathead Beacon
- ➤ Kalispell City Council voted Monday to use mail-only voting for the November 4 municipal election—ballots will be sent to residents while those wishing to vote in person can visit the office at 290 B N. Main St.—This change comes after past elections showed very low turnout. Daily Inter Lake

Greg Gianforte vetoed a bill that would have reimbursed counties for holding inmates waiting for state mental hospital beds — he said the measure was only a temporary fix and pointed to new state projects.
