- ➤ On June 15, 2025, the Kalispell Fire Department responded to a fire on West Nevada Street that began on a second-story balcony and forced residents to evacuate, and the Red Cross arranged temporary housing — Evergreen and Whitefish fire departments and police provided additional support. KPAX

- ➤ Timothy James Sonstelie, 62, allegedly rammed his brother with a side-by-side near Kalispell on June 6 after the latter complimented his mowing work and now faces a felony assault with a weapon charge—he was released on bail set at $75,000 and is scheduled to appear in court on June 30.
