GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Today at 6 p.m. at City Hall—201 First Ave E, the Kalispell Planning Commission will review a request for a casino permit within a new steakhouse on 214 S. Main and will also consider proposals for a high-density development in North Kalispell, an expansion for a local car dealership along the Stillwater River, and a subdivision extension in South Kalispell for parkland and stormwater detention. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Flathead County Crisis Assistance Team has grown from a single co-responder hired nearly six years ago to a full team now integrated into the county behavioral health program that operates seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.—the team, which includes an LCSW and a care coordinator, also offers a 14-day follow-up and helped respond to 408 calls in the first quarter of this year compared to 94 last year.
