- ➤ A head-on crash near Big Arm on May 17 at 2:38 a.m. killed a 22-year-old Lake Elmo woman when her Jeep Wrangler veered into the wrong lane and hit a tanker truck — a 50-year-old Kalispell man driving the truck was injured and taken to hospital. MontanaRightNow

- ➤ A Kalispell man, Dakota Douglas Laverdure, faces a felony charge for aggravated assault after reportedly punching a bar patron outside a local bar on April 22 and he is scheduled for arraignment on May 22 — the victim sustained stitches, a nasal fracture, and a fractured tooth. Daily Inter Lake
