- ➤ Three Stillwater Christian School freshmen competed in the regional Presidential AI Challenge using AI to create procurement logs for road projects after winning the state high school track 2 division. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Schellinger Construction was fined $11,750 by the state for sending muddy water into a tributary of Garnier Creek last summer — the company later took corrective action to meet state rules. Daily Inter Lake

- ➤ Flathead National Forest withdrew its Mid-Swan Landscape Restoration plan on April 17 due to overestimated timber data + the agency will launch smaller forestry projects in Swan Valley while inviting public comment on the Piper Creek Project until May 5. Daily Inter Lake

- ➤ Flathead County commissioners renewed the preliminary plat for Tamarack Meadows in Columbia Falls on April 21.
