- ➤ Cole Moses, a senior at Whitefish High School, was nominated for the Winslow Nichols Leadership Award and mentors peers through clubs and programs — including a summer pickleball tournament that raised funds for community service. - ➤ The CSKT and Polson city officials have begun restoring Salish Point Park’s dynamic equilibrium beach by adding gravel to curb erosion as crews work today with plans to finish in two to three weeks — temporary access delays may affect parking and recreation, though boat launches remain open. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Super Bowl champion Patrick O'Connell hosted a youth combine at Logan Health Performance Center on Saturday, Apr. 11 to give back to local athletes—over 30 middle and high schoolers tested their speed, strength, and agility as they followed in his footsteps. KPAX
- ➤ Local kids participated in a college soccer clinic hosted by Carroll College on Sunday after three showcase games held Saturday. About 50 kids aged 5 to 18 practiced their skills with college players + organizers said the clinic will return next year. KPAX
