EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ After transportation challenges and teacher departures earlier this school year, West Glacier Elementary School is planning a three year strategy that includes reimbursing parents for transfers, renting vans for field trips, fundraising to buy new vans that seat 15, and recruiting new teachers. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ West Glacier ended its winter with the warmest season in over 75 years—recording an average daily temperature 6.6 degrees above normal and setting eight high-temperature records. - ➤ Flathead County commissioners will debate renewing the lease for Bigfork’s Everit L. Sliter Memorial Park, where maintenance and event planning may change if not renewed.
