- ➤ The Roundup for Safety Board of Directors approved a $5,749 grant on Mar. 12 to fund ladder safety improvements for Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley, which relies on volunteers to build affordable homes in Flathead County. Daily Inter Lake
- ➤ The Gianforte Family Foundation gave $1.4 million to Flathead Valley nonprofits on March 24 to support programs in rescue missions, shelters, education, and family services. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Deer Park School District in Columbia Falls will ask voters to approve a $110,000 operational levy this May to address a nearly $13,000 budget shortfall caused by lower state funding and enrollment. The measure will help support competitive wages and fund a part-time maintenance worker for the aging school facility. KPAX
