- ➤ The Flathead County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant on March 13th, 2025 in Coram and rescued 27 live dogs from unsanitary conditions—one dead puppy was also found; the dogs have been moved to the Flathead County Animal Shelter where they will receive needed care as the case continues. - ➤ The Bonneville Power Administration lost many workers in Kalispell in a federal cut — and now plans to bring back 89 probationary workers after receiving DOE permission last week. - ➤ Dave Roemer, superintendent of Glacier Park since 2022, now oversees Grant-Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site in Deer Lodge — a working cattle ranch — with administration officer Emily Keil helping him with the new role. Daily Inter Lake
- ➤ The City of Kalispell announced that Jay Hagen will become the new Fire Chief on May 5th—replacing retiring Chief Dan Pearce—and he comes from the Bellevue Fire Department where he served as chief since 2018.
