A Flathead contractor agreed to pay $200,000 to scam victims and stop doing business in Montana—his deal now awaits a judge's signature amid reports he may still be targeting customers.

Lawmakers from both sides are now reviewing proposals before the break.

Kalispell City Hall held its first open house at Bias Brewery Wednesday to gather views for a new land use plan that will help guide housing growth as required by a state law—city planners displayed 14 zoning rules on poster boards with stickers and will host more drop-in sessions on Thursday.
