- ➤ The Spring Mack Days fishing event on Flathead Lake launches Thursday, Mar. 12 and runs through Saturday, May 9. Sponsored by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes for fish conservation — lake trout anglers have a chance to win cash prizes while supporting native trout. Daily Inter Lake
- ➤ Land to Hand hosts the 11th annual Free the Seeds event on Saturday, Mar. 7 at Flathead Valley Community College’s Arts and Technology Building. The free, family-friendly event features a seed giveaway (over 7,000 packets donated), more than 20 workshops, children’s activities, and food trucks with a suggested donation. Daily Inter Lake
- ➤ Retirees and older adults will attend a free Reimagining Retirement brunch on Monday, Mar. 16 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Flathead Valley Community College (Arts and Technology Building, Room 139) to explore flexible job options and connect with local employers and hiring resources. - ➤ Flathead National Forest released a proposal for a long-term wastewater system upgrade to support Holland Lake Campground, RV station and lodge.
