- ➤ Ronan Native Dancers performed traditional Native American dances for Plains students last week in two shows that featured women’s fancy dance, men’s chicken dance and war dances (students also joined workshops on traditional games and beadwork to learn about the dances’ significance). - ➤ Conservationists plan to use an estimated $37 million from recreational cannabis tax revenue for habitat projects—including parks, trails and wildlife corridors—ahead of the 2027 Legislature.
