- ➤ Students from Flathead, Glacier and Whitefish high schools earned spots at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Atlanta from April 25 — 28 after advancing at the state competition in Missoula from Feb. 1 — 3, testing their business skills in areas from marketing to entrepreneurship. - ➤ Faculty and staff at Flathead Valley Community College met Monday to demand transparency on administrative raises and improvements to campus policies. The union documented concerns about a hostile work environment (part of ongoing collective bargaining negotiations) to ensure fairness going forward. Flathead Beacon
