Good morning, Kalispell.
🎓 Education
A December report by the Flathead County Superintendent of Schools showed that enrollment declined by 333 students (a 2% drop) in public, private and homeschool programs for the third straight year, even as total numbers increased by 8% since 2016 which could affect state funding.
🌲 Environment
The Kohrs family added 110 acres to its preserved land along the Stillwater River west of Whitefish on January 7 (extending a conservation legacy that now totals nearly 800 acres) as development pressure grows in the area.
🏈 Sports
Whitefish Mountain Resort set a new record for skier visits last Saturday (Dec.
